How can the Washington State School Retirees Association benefit me?

Your local Lower Columbia School Retirees Association
wants you to be aware of the following information

 

WSSRA has over 16,000 members, both retired and active educators, to lobby for your benefits as a retired or future retired educator.

That is a growing number that has some positive influence with legislators. There is strength in numbers. You membership will help strengthen that impact.

WSSRA works for your health and retirement benefits and helps improve the lives of all retired educators.

Retired educators have gained several thousands of dollars in benefits and protection from our efforts.

WSSRA goals for are:

Locally

In the Lower Columbia area which encompasses Woodland to Toutle Lake to Cathlamet we have nearly 500members.

We are growing unit in the state and are thriving as we join together for the good of all.

We are a source of up-to-date retirement information and benefits.

We have a monthly program where we get together for a breakfast, hear interesting and pertinent information and get to enjoy each others company.

We meet each third Tuesday for breakfast at the Somerset Retirement Center at 9:30. The sumptuous breakfast is only $5.00, which includes everything.

We have a enjoyable newsletter that helps keep us informed even when we might be away enjoying our retirement if some far off land (such as Arizona).

We have benefits available to us through a third party which provides benefits to large organizations such as ours.

Your membership means
