Our
grants are for educators in Toutle Lake, Castle Rock, Kelso, Longview,
Cathlamet, Kalama, and Woodland.
First to be issued October 1
Grants are for classroom and on-going projects that are
not funded by districts or other means.
Be aware that after local grant funds run out, we wait
until January when Fibre Federal funds are donated (usually by Feb 1).
Please
read the Restrictions

1. Three grants per school until April 1.
|
As of April 1 grants will be available to all applicants on
quality of project basis.

2. Grants are limited to projects that will used in the school.
|
|
3. We do not fund trips.
|
|
4. Grants are for up to $100 for non-members and $150 for members
(of course anyone can join at any time. Because 40% of our members
are active educators, joining not only makes good sense - we are
protecting your future.
NOTE: Grant checks are to be
cashed within 30 days.

5. Recipients of grants must provide feedback pictures
or other documentation of their project to be eligible for
future grants.
ALERT: Failure to
complete homework by sending in feedback pictures, etc. by email
will result in a "flunking grade". That means the grantee will
not be eligible for a grant in the subsequent year.

Each
recipient will report back and provide pictures (as applicable)
how the funds were used
by June 1.
This will help encourage future funding of the grants.
Co-sponsor
of grants is Fibre Federal Credit
Union.
They wish to use this way to express their concern and support for
teachers in the classroom.
Besides the greater size of the grant, members
contribute to the future retirement protection, helping retired
educators,
and eligible for many other benefits
of the Washington State School Retirees Association.
